Promoting inclusiveness, creativity and critical thinking through digital storytelling among EFL teacher candidates

Storytelling is an essential component in language learning and acquisition but it has changed over time from early oral tradition to modern digital literacy. Although storytelling (DST) become important tool development inclusive diverse stories are still underrepresented. The novelty of this article that reports the findings a two-year research about design use DST by 244 teacher candidates their attitudes toward inclusiveness diversity Education. Quantitative qualitative data were gathered through pre-test/post-test, class presentations semi-structured debates. results revealed statistically significant differences after treatment as regards among participants, who demonstrated creativity openness transformative technology pedagogy, unveiled presence stereotypes children. widely supported integration DSTs English Foreign Language (EFL) classroom advocated for better pedagogical technological preparation transition native students teachers.
